Seeking an energetic corrosion engineer/technician who has experience in the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of cathodic protection systems on underground pipelines and storage tanks. This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising activities associated with the design, operation, maintenance, inspection and construction of cathodic protection facilities associated with natural gas, petroleum, and water infrastructure. The technician will design, field test and collect data to determine criteria for cathodic protection applications on underground pipelines and storage tanks. The applicant should have an advanced understanding of cathodic protection principles and have sufficient troubleshooting skills and experience recognizing and resolving major problems within a cathodic protection system. The technician should be capable of using the instruments required to accomplish advanced cathodic protection testing to include stray current interference, current requirement and close interval surveys. Effective oral and written communications skills are also required. NACE CP3 certification is required and PE, EIT, and API certifications are a plus. Seeking an energetic, results orientated individual with interpersonal and coordination skills. Ideal candidate will poses a BS in Engineering with 5 years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas, petroleum, and pipeline industry. We need individuals who are flexible, detail oriented, and self starters who can handle multiple projects simultaneously. Effective oral and written communications skills are also required.
