   Positions Available

The General Engineering Consultant Team is looking for qualified construction inspectors, office engineers and clerical staff experienced in dredging, piling installations, foundations, concrete and bridge construction over waterways NICET certification and Maryland SHA materials certification or equivalent desired. All inspection and documentation to be in accordance with State of Maryland SHA construction practices, policies and procedures including the Maryland Construction Management System (MCMS). ET-II through ET-VI level positions available. Night shift needed during dredging operations. Long term employment and year round work anticipated.

Seeking an energetic, results orientated individual with interpersonal and coordination skills and experience negotiating with local jurisdictions and the general public. Ideal candidate will poses a BS or comparable degree with 5 years of progressive engineering and/or environmental experience including natural resource management and environmental compliance as it relates to highway and mitigation construction in urban areas. Specialization in project management; cost and schedule compliance; parkland design and mitigation; permit coordination, acquisition, and compliance; noise modeling, monitoring, and compliance; wetland mitigation compliance; and database management.

VDOT/;MSHA certifications required. Other specialty positions, i.e., pre-cast inspector, grouting inspector and geometry engineer also available. Long term (3-5 Year) assignments.
