Natural Gas System Modeling
Greater Bangor Area, Maine
RK&K developed the gas system model for the new natural gas distribution system for Bangor Gas Company, LLC. The system consists of 18 miles of steel main supply pipeline and 227 miles of polyethylene distribution piping. The analytical model was developed using GASWorkS 7.0 overlaid on aerial photography. The graphical presentation of the gas system became the foundation for marketing and public relation efforts.
