Route selection involved coordinating with current and proposed infrastructure improvements, and providing perpetual and temporary easement plats as needed. Final design was provided in AutoCAD 14 format. |

| RK&K is currently providing engineering and permitting services for a natural gas transmission pipeline that involves approximately 36 miles of 10-inch and 6-inch steel installed within the City and cross-country routing. Project requirements include wetland delineation and Army Corps of Engineer permitting, designing and preparing erosion and sediment control plans, preparing construction and hydrostatic test specifications, preparing over 50 easement plats for pipeline construction, designing over 3,000 feet of horizontal directional drilling under roads, streams/rivers and wetlands, record research of existing and proposed improvement plans, and design of the hydrostatic, pigging and purging procedures. |

| RK&K designed approximately 6,200 feet of 8-inch high density polyethylene gas main to serve a new elementary school and subdivision. The pipeline alignment was maintained entirely within the state right-of-way along a developing corridor. In addition to the gas main design, RK&K developed construction specifications and bid packages, and provided complete bid phase services and construction inspection and administration. |

RK&K provided system planning, design, construction inspection and administration, and project management services to the City of Danville for the replacement of over 102,000 feet of intermediate and low pressure cast iron, ductile iron and unprotected steel gas mains in residential and commercial sections of the City. Replacement mains included 8", 6", 4", 2", and 1-1/4" high density polyethylene pipe. The project also included the replacement of over 1,250 existing customer services. This project was subdivided into three projects following the final submittal of the original single project. Alignment of proposed replacement mains was changed by the new Director and Engineer received final plans based on the previous Director's and Engineer's directions. |
